How did we worked

At Douf, our design process revolves around striking a delicate balance between captivating viewers and allowing them the freedom to interpret our designs.

We believe in creating space for imagination to flourish, crafting unique designs that stem from a carefully chosen concept.

We view this process as an art form, carefully nurturing each step to bring our vision to life.

So, how do we achieve this? It begins with selecting broad ideas that inspire us or hold personal significance, such as decades, cultural movements, or cherished traditions.

For our debut collection, "The 80s Boys Club," our team drew inspiration from our parents' stories of youth.

We conducted extensive research, delving into influences from that era, including iconic cigarette packaging, sports and skate magazines, soda ads, fashion trends, and the overall cultural backdrop.

This allowed us to capture the desired vibe and essence in our designs.

Once we have our main inspiration, the creative process commences.

This involves brainstorming, sketching, creating mock-ups, and collaborating closely with our designers.

We also seek additional inspiration by immersing ourselves in the works of renowned authors, watching popular films, and diving into the cultural zeitgeist of the chosen era.

Our aim is to ensure our designs authentically convey the intended essence. The creative process typically takes around 2-4 weeks to complete.

Once the design is finalized, we move on to crafting the collection's name, history, message, and purpose.

These elements are carefully crafted to complement and enhance the overall concept of the collection.

"The 80s Boys Club" is the culmination of this creative journey, reflecting our passion and dedication to delivering captivating designs that resonate with our audience.
